We accept applications through ERAS only.
Do I have to have a certain score on my USMLE to be considered?
ALL USMLE scores need to be greater than 85. We will not consider an applicant with more than one failed attempt—and that would be only on Step 1.
Do you have any Foreign Medical Graduates (FMGs) in your program?
Yes, we do have FMGs in our program.
What type of visas do you sponsor?
J-1 and H-1 visas.
How early can I apply to your residency program?
We prefer candidates who are 3 years or less from completing medical school.
As a FMG, do you require a certificate from the ECFMG?
Yes, we do require an ECFMG certificate.
With regard to recommendation letters, how many do you require?
We require three letters of recommendation. It is very beneficial to your application if these are from clinical or research faculty with whom you have worked in the US or Canada.
How important is documenting past clinical experience as part of my application?
Clinical experience in the US or Canada greatly improves the likelihood of an invitation to interview.
When can I schedule an interview?
Interviewing begins in October and lasts through the end of January.
Do you offer any non-Match positions?
We offer very few "out-of-the-Match" positions.
Do you offer PGY-1 Preliminary positions?
Our six PGY 1 Preliminary positions are highly competitive and go only to applicants pursuing non-medicine training such as anesthesia, radiology, neurology and PM&R.
