Admission Criteria

  • Physician referral/medical clearance
  • Baseline evaluation indicates potential to benefit from work hardening program
  • Person has limitations which may affect his/her job performance or work potential

Interdisciplinary Team

  • Physical Therapist
  • Occupational Therapist
  • Certified Vocational Evaluator
  • Psychologist
  • Licensed Certified Social Worker

Intensity of Service

  • 4 to 7 hours per day
  • 5 days per week
  • 2 to 6 weeks

Occupations of Persons Served — Major Groups

  • Drivers/Delivery - 15%
  • Laborers – 11%
  •  Healthcare Workers - 10%
  • Admin/Clerical - 11%
  • Mechanics - 10%
  • Public Service Workers (Police, Fire Fighters, etc.) - 10%
  • Other* – 33%
